Auditioning for all orchestras simply ensures that all musicians are placed in ensembles that are appropriate for their age and ability. The State Music Camp employs professional musicians when assessing musicians in the auditioning process.

All students wishing to attend State Music Camp must audition on this date. Students from rural areas may submit an elctronic audio recording that meets the audtiton requirements.

Audition Requirements

• Perform two contrasting pieces. (An accompanist is not required).
• Sight reading as requested by the auditioners.
  

• Placement of students is at the sole discretion of the State Music Camp Committee.
